Brief Itinerary

Day 1

Tour executive will welcome you at the Paro air port. After the reception, you will be taken to hotel for check in and will be given tea & snacks, and will review the whole program and discuss before we start our tour. After lunch, you will visit the national museum, Paro Rinpung Dzong and Kichu monastery. At evening, you all be taken for the dinner at chendona village farm house with bonfire and culture program will be performed by the village people.

Day 2

The following morning, you will hike to the legendary Taktshang or Tiger’s nest; perched at a precarious 1,000m cliff you will have a great view of the valley besides visiting the inner sanctum of one of the most sacred sites in the kingdom. Lunch will be at the cafeteria with the close cliff view and after lunch will visit the ruined fortress or Drukgyel Dzong located at northern part of Paro valley. In evening you all will be having review of the day.

Day 3 

After Break Fast, you will be heading to the Capital city and on arrival to Thimphu you will be taken to the sight seen of the capital city, in the evening you do the check in hotel and dinner at hotel itself. The selected sightseeing provided by the company is follows:

  1. Buddha point
  2. Takin Zoo
  3. Majestey Court Yard
  4. Tango monastery.

Day 4

After early breakfast, you will be heading to Punakha, the old capital. On the way, there will be a stopover at Dochula Pass where you will enjoy a morning tea at the backdrop of the breathtaking view of the Himalayan mountain range. When you reached to Lobesa, you will hike some way to a hillock where the famous temple of fertility is perched. After lunch, you will visit the most beautiful fortress or Dzong called Pungthang Dewa Chenpoi Phodrang, in English translation called the Palace of Great Happiness and followed by the walking through the longest suspension bridge in the country. In the evening, you will have the review of the day and clarification session at hotel lobby.

Day 5 

After breakfast, you will take short hike to khamsum Yuelay Namgayal stupa perched on the majestic chirpiness hill of Sirigang. After the visit, you will drive to Gasa (2770meters above sea level and 74kms distance). On the way to Gasa, you will frequently stop for the bird watching. Night at guest House closed by the famous hot spring in the country.

Day 6 

Today you will have a day excursion in the Gasa valley considered as one of the oldest Village in the in Bhutan and rich in History related with the first arrival of Zhabdrung Nawang Namgay in the year 1616 been honorable

Invited by the People of the Gasa Region, the man who became the leader of the country in dual system, both religion and constitution. Today, you all will going to learn the whole history of the Bhutan about its establishment dated back from 1616 and will be narrated by the head the monk of the Dzong in English and will have lunch with the monks at their assembly hall, which is very very rare in the country. In the evening there will be born fire with unique culture show perform by the villagers at the campsite.

Day 7

After the breakfast, we will be driving back towards the Phobjikha valley via Punakha valley and will stop lunch at wangdi phordang. After lunch will continue our journey towards the Phobjikha valley and in evening we will review the next day program and share the experiences of individual feedback.

Day 8

Today after breakfast, you all will be heading to the day hike towards the south-east direction from the Phobjikha place called Sha Ada Rukha and it takes around 5 to 6 hours to complete the loop. The most interesting about the hike destination is, it is very interesting trail with rich flora and fauna and as when you reach to the valley, you will have first hand experiences of the beauty of the valley and people in that particular region. They do have their rich history of their own and survival history of their forefather’s time. And the lunch will be prepared by the village community for us and they will cook their well borne cuisine of their own. After lunch, we will resume our hike back to Phobjikha valley. In the evening we will have discussion of the day hike in more details.

Day 9

Again Day begin with journey towards Bumthang Valley also well known as small Switzerland enroute through Trongsa Valley and visit the Largest Fortress in the country  and heritage museum. After lunch you will continue your journey towards Bumthang. In the evening, you will do the excursion of some holy places and the town. At night before dinner, you will have red panda beer party at hotel with born fire.

Day 10

Today, you will witness the whole day for the Festival and all the details of the festival will be provided to all of you by our tour guide and any doubts will be further discussing at hotel lobby in the evening.

Day 11

Time to return, today you will drive back to Punakha and on the, you will stopover occasionally for the short walk and stretch time.

Day 12

Today After breakfast, you will drive to Paro and after lunch you going to have hot stone bath at farm house and in the evening there will be farewell dinner and presentation of gift to individual on behalf of company.

Day 13

Your tour executive will see you off at the airport and before you will drive from hotel, there will be small ceremony by the high monk for your safe journey and long life blessing as a part of Bhutanese tradition.
